New Year, new planning system?

After a festive period of (probably) too much eating and drinking, we’ve all seen the health club adverts inviting us to a “New Year, New You”.

Well, it feels like in 2025 the same might be said for the planning system, following the various changes announced by the Government before Christmas.

Time will tell, and we have heard some of this before, but there is no doubting that the changes announced are significant and will usher in a new dawn for a speeded up and more effective planning system, as well as increased housebuilding and economic development.
